This beautiful African beach/storage basket is entirely hand woven from raffia, then laced with gorgeously vibrant red, yellow, blue, and black Ankara fabric strips. The bold, multicolour palette makes this a real statement piece — joyful, eye-catching, and unmistakably African in spirit.

The basket weave is a very sturdy but loose twist, so items inside are slightly visible. The basket comes with firmly attached 26cm long handles to aid over-the-shoulder carrying. Can be used as storage for books, magazines, toys, clothing and much more. Also ideal as a stylish and elegant carry bag / hold-all for days out, the beach, or picnics.
