A scented candle from the Bibianna Benin Heritage Range, inspired by the cylindrical bronze heads of the Benin Queens — works of art cast to honour past monarchs, placed at the heart of royal shrines and surrounded by carved tusks and regalia. The bronze head is a symbol of character, destiny, and the enduring power of legacy.

Bergamot speaks to the trade routes of the Benin Empire, which connected the kingdom with distant lands and brought exotic citrus to West Africa. Musk reflects the depth and endurance of the royal lineage — a quiet, grounding scent that lingers long after the candle has been blown out.

A crisp, citrusy top of bergamot opens into a warm, earthy musk heart that fills a room with calm.

Hand-poured in the UK using natural rapeseed wax. 220g. Cotton wick. Approximately 35–40 hours burn time. Packaged in an elegant glass jar and adorned with our Benin Queen illustration by designer Rachel Carroll.

Light it for evenings in, quiet bedrooms, or as a thoughtful gift.
