A scented candle from the Bibianna Benin Heritage Range, inspired by the two majestic Benin Leopards — Ẹkpẹn — the king of the forest in Edo culture, hunted only by elite warriors known as Iviekpen. The leopards are a profound symbol of royal authority, courage, strength, ferocity, and wisdom.

Cinnamon was historically traded through ancient routes that connected Africa with the wider world — its fire matches the fierce spirit of the leopard. Orange brings a fresh, zesty note that calls to mind the lush, fruit-bearing landscapes of West Africa, blending vitality with regal warmth.

Top notes — mandarin and sweet orange.
Heart — cinnamon bark, rose, ylang ylang.
Base — warm clove and patchouli.

Hand-poured in the UK using natural rapeseed wax. 220g. Natural cotton wick. Approximately 35–40 hours burn time. Packaged in an elegant glass jar and adorned with our Benin Leopards illustration by designer Rachel Carroll.
