Bibianna Exhibits at Didsbury Parsonage Trust - April & May 2025

We’re thrilled to invite you to experience Bibianna Gallery’s latest exhibition "Beyond Borders" at the historic Didsbury Parsonage Trust, a beautiful fusion of contemporary African art and the charm of one of Manchester’s most beloved heritage sites.

Housed in the Grade II listed Old Parsonage, surrounded by peaceful gardens and lush woodland walks, this offers more than just an art exhibition—it’s an opportunity to immerse yourself in a day of beauty, culture, and discovery. It is a lovingly restored historic building, gifted to the city in 1919 by Alderman Fletcher Moss and now a vibrant community hub managed by the Didsbury Parsonage Trust.

Imagine spending your afternoon exploring a curated selection of stunning contemporary African art, each piece telling its own powerful story and adding vibrant colour to the elegant rooms of the Parsonage. Then step outside to enjoy a tranquil stroll through Fletcher Moss Botanical Gardens or follow the nearby woodland path down to the River Mersey, taking in the peaceful riverside atmosphere before looping back into Didsbury Village.

Whether you fancy lunch from one of the local food trucks on Fletcher Moss gardens, browsing the independent boutiques, or indulging in a little retail therapy at the newly opened Oliver Bonas, there’s no shortage of ways to make the day extra special. And why not round it off with a glass of wine on the terrace at Alberts or a hearty Sunday roast at The Woodstock or Volta? (I’ll let you in on a secret—Volta is my personal favourite!).

But of course, the heart of the day is the art.
