Agboola Emmanuel I

Agboola Emmanuel is a contemporary artist from Osun State, Nigeria. Born into a community rich in artistic traditions, Agboola’s passion for visual art blossomed at an early age, leading him to pursue a formal education in Fine Art at Ibadan Polytechnic. There, he developed a unique artistic voice. Agboola’s artistic practice is characterized by a dynamic use of color, texture, and form, often drawing on personal experiences and social narratives. He employs a variety of techniques, including acrylic and impasto, to create layers that evoke emotion 

Throughout his career, Agboola has exhibited in numerous art shows and exhibitions, gaining recognition for his innovative approach to contemporary art. Notable exhibitions include LIMCAF 2023 and Atmosphere, where he showcased works that reflect his commitment to addressing social issues through art. His pieces often explore themes such as resilience, hope, and the impact of socio-economic challenges on communities.

In addition to his artistic endeavors, Agboola is deeply committed to philanthropy and community engagement. He has participated in charity initiatives such as Chess N Slum and Slum2School, where he uses art as a tool for social change and empowerment. Through these organizations, he aims to inspire the next generation of artists and provide opportunities for creative expression among underserved youth.
