Ubabike Victor is a distinguished Nigerian artist from Oru-East in Imo State, born on March 23, 1982, in Auchi, Edo State. Victor's education in the arts was comprehensive, earning a National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in general art and painting respectively from Auchi Polytechnic in 2003 and 2007. His artistic evolution has transitioned from impressionism and expressionism to a dynamic abstract style influenced by cubism, often employing a palette knife technique on canvas. A member of the Lagos chapter of the Society of Nigerian Artists (SNA), Victor's work has garnered recognition in various exhibitions and competitions, including a special mention in the 2013 Embassy of Spain's National Art Competition in Abuja and third place in the 2014 "Dali's Dream on Canvas" contest. In 2017, he was also a finalist in the Centenary Art Contest by Union Bank Plc. Today, he continues his prolific painting career in Lagos, contributing vivid and impactful works to the contemporary art scene Ubabike Victor Chukwudi, was born in 1982, at Auchi, Edo State.


Victor sees and draw inspiration from domestic settings with women and children. And he employs the technical use of impasto painting technique to create very colourful impressions.
