"My art is inspired by the rich cultural environment of the Yoruba kings' palaces I grew up around. It reflects traditional symbols and motifs while incorporating contemporary elements that allow for visual communication on issues such as character and tribal identity. Each piece is a dialogue in color and form, meant to engage and provoke thought about our cultural roots and modern lives."
